TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY

Join us on Tuesday mornings - 10:30 a.m. in the Hospitality Area of the Main Church for an invigorating journey through the scriptures. Each week we examine a new aspect of the Holy Book in a way that educates and excites participants. All are welcome to join us, whatever their level or experience with Bible Study. Will Thwaites leads the meeting.

Participants continue to meet on Tuesday mornings throughout the summer, at 10:00 a.m. to share time coordinating affirmations in faith with insight and through lectionaries:
July 11th – Sally Foreman will Chair.
July 18th – Stan Bowers will Chair
August 1st – Leonel Abaroa and Sally Foreman will Co-Chair
August 8th – Bishop Terry will Chair.
Join us as we celebrate Jesus’ “way”.


WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY

Join us on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Hospitality Area of the Main Church, for a study on Building Christian Community. Stan Bowers leads the meeting.

This group will resume in September 2017.


CENTERING PRAYER

Join us Thursday evenings in the Hospitality Area of the Main Church . Coordinator, Nicole Smith.

This group will resume in September 2017 after the final session on June 16.

CHRISTIAN THEMED DISCUSSION GROUP

Thursday Mornings The group that meets on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. led by Dennis Goldsberry is going to discuss Thomas A. Kempis’ The Imitation of Christ during Lent. It is a work Kempis wrote as a monk in the years 1420-1427 for novices in his monastery to teach them how to live a life in imitation of Christ’s life. It is one of the most-read Christian books and has inspired many over the centuries including Thomas Merton and Agatha Christie. If you wish to join this group, speak to Dennis Goldsberry so he can order enough copies of the book. There will be no charge for the text. Dennis can be reached at 905 540 4923 deronda_ca@yahoo.ca
