ASCENSION PARISH CHOIR



Choir

Since 1850, the Church of the Ascension Parish Choir has been supporting the liturgy of the church and reaching out to the community. The choir meets each Sunday morning after the service, September through June, to prepare hymns, psalms and anthems for the Sunday service. Festive music and accompaniment are always highlights of the Christmas and Easter seasons.

We are always open to new choir members who read music and have prior experience in other choirs, To arrange for an audition with John Laing, please call the church office or speak to him after the 10 am service.

John Laing

The Church of the Ascension Music Program is now under the direction of renowned composer and conductor, Mr John Laing.

John is the former director of the John Laing Singers now know as Musicata.
